I was listening to the 80′s station on Sirius this afternoon, and a song came on that brought me back to 1988, and the first CD I ever got.

A local radio station was doing a drawing at the mall, and I was the lucky winner. I didn’t even own a CD player yet! Luckily, my Dad’s work had given him an external SCSI CD-ROM for his laptop, and it had a headphone jack. Perfect! :)

I rocked out to this CD while playing Codename: Iceman by Sierra.. Those were the times! I miss those old Sierra games, before they decided to dumb down the games and move to a point-and-click system.

Anyway, just a bit of nostalgia on this snowy Friday.. What was the first CD you ever got?
