According to Matt Cutts:
I wanted to let you know that new toolbar PageRank values should become visible over the next few days. I’m expecting that also in the next few days that we’ll be expiring some older penalties on websites.
And wouldn’t you know it, that PR5 blog I just bought a few days ago got knocked down to a PR4. FUCK!
In addition, one of our more popular sites that has 2000+ Feedburner readers, 40K+ pageviews each month, and that held a PR4 forever has been knocked down to a PR1. WTF?
I feel like Chuck Norris just kicked me in the nuts..

I just realized the same – few my sites lost some points.
Even though PR doesn’t mean as much anymore people still prefer to see longer green bar…
