The Best Super Affiliate You’ve Never Heard Of!

Don’t worry, I’m not going all redneck John Chow on you guys..
A friend of mine is a higher-up at Lone Star Steakhouse, and he told me about their new “All You Can Eat Steak Bites”. I saw the picture, and I thought it looked gross. Still, he wanted our opinion on them, and said he’d comp the meal. ‘Nuff said!
The description for this dish reads, “A never-ending serving of our tender steak medallions, cut into bite-size pieces, hand-breaded, golden fried then tossed into your choice of sauce. Served with choice of ranch or bleu cheese dipping sauce, and bottomless steak fries.”
The concept sounds wierd. But after our server reassured us that it’s really good, we decided to give it a shot. Turns out, they’re REALLY GOOD! Who would have thought that deep frying steak, and then dousing it in BBQ sauce would be a good combo?
Their spicy Sidewinder BBQ sauce is CRAZY SPICY. Our server told us it had a “little kick”. I wanted to kick him in the balls, as my throat was on fire! It’s a shame, because their sauce has some great flavor to it, and I’d love it without the spice. The Buffalo sauce was watery, and I didn’t particularly care for it. However, my wife loved it, and said it was like eating wings. I didn’t have a chance to try their Texas Traditional, but I think that’s probably the way to go if you don’t like things hot.
All in all, it’s a fantastic dish at a very reasonable price. You don’t get a salad or side with it, but the bites and fries definitely do the trick. Try them out – I think you’ll be impressed!

We recently moved our blog network over to a dedicated server. And frankly, we should have done it sooner! If you’re serious about your online business, you shouldn’t be using shared hosting.. There’s an added expense with a dedicated server, but isn’t it worth it to ensure 99.9% uptime, a responsive support team, and greater security? Absolutely!
And that brings up the ever-important question, who should I trust?
The simple answer? The Planet. Planet Alpha is the world’s largest provider of dedicated servers for more than 22,000 businesses. Only Planet Alpha gives you the power to choose the right combination of technology and managed service options that enable you to successfully grow your business.
In addition, they offer Alpha Advanced Services, which are seperate management modules designed to supplement the administration and maintenance of your self-managed servers. Alpha Advanced Services empower you to create the optimal management plan for your business, lowering your operational costs and improving the security and availability of your hosted environment.
Could you forego the Advanced Services and administer the box yourself? Definitely. But my day is already busy enough, so I’m more than happy to pay them to monitor my server, and take care of the security aspects as well.
The Planet is currently running some great server promos, so if you’re considering moving to a dedicated server, now’s the time to get one!

Almost two weeks without a post, and my inbox is overflowing with concerned e-mails! I probably should have posted something before I left, but I didn’t pack until the past minute, and ended up leaving in a hurry..
I went to Dreams Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic for a wedding. The website make the resort look better than it really is. While it was still a good time, the food was REALLY bad, and I was pretty bored after a few days. I guess all-inclusive resorts just aren’t my thing, I need to be actually DOING something.
After that, we jetted off to Beijing for the Olympics. The flight from hell. I’m never flying commercial again! As for Beijing, it was definitely a “unique” experience. The air pollution there makes Los Angeles look crystal clear! And there was a lot of chaos with the American tourist that got killed on Saturday.. Very scary stuff!
While it’s nice to get away, there’s just no place like home! I had VERY limited Internet access while I was gone (Internet in Punta Cana was like being on dial-up!), so I came home to nearly 2000 e-mails.. FUN!
Talk to you all later!
