The Best Super Affiliate You’ve Never Heard Of!
Logged into my Wordpress Dashboard today and saw that there was a new version of Wordpress out. I usually wait to see if there are any new bugs introduced with a new version, but I was curious to try the new automatic upgrade process that was introduced in WP v2.7. And it works as promised, albeit a little slower than I expected. Upgrading this site took between 4-5 minutes.. I’d imagine that some of my larger blogs would take even longer.
Still, for people like me who manage 50+ WP blogs, the automatic upgrade is a godsend.. Fantastico worked well enough, but this saves me a few extra steps.

Yeah, I just saw that too.
BTW, do you really go through 50+ site every day man? Phew….. Mind posting some of the URLs?

Yeah.. I don’t do the day-to-day writing on all of the sites (we have a team of writers for that), but I’m solely responsible for the rest of it (upgrades, theme modifications, SEO, etc). You can check out some of our sites at http://www.sportsgabnetwork.com.
Just checked over dozen of ‘em! Cool! I wish I could had these ideas and earned some good money

Did anybody upgrade and more importantly test the new Automatic Upgrade features from the previous version?
I am still sitting on 2.5.1.

I used the Automatic Upgrade to move from v2.7 to v2.7.1, and it went off without a hitch. If you’re still on 2.5.1, you really should consider manually updating to 2.7.1 – Not just for the Automatic Upgrade features, but for all the other changes/bug fixes/enhancements that they’ve made since then.
