One of my sites has a DOCTYPE of XHTML 1.0 Strict. Don’t ask me why, that’s just the way my developer made it.
If you’re familiar with XHTML 1.0 Strict, you know that there are a lot of depreciated tags that can’t be used anymore. And if you’ve got YouTube embeds in your site, that poses a slight problem.
Thankfully, I stumbled onto this post by hwa, which shows you how to change the YouTube HTML code to make it pass validation!
And we’re good to go. Thanks!
