Posted in So I had my colonoscopy this morning, and it was a piece of cake! The anesthesiologist gave me some propofol, and I was asleep almost instantly! Not sure how MJ got addicted to this stuff, but to each his own.
Anyway, the doctor said everything came up clean, and that was encouraging news.
The bad news is that the Miralax is STILL wreaking havoc with my system, even after the procedure was completed. I asked one of the nurses about this, and she said she had after-effects until the following morning when she had her colonoscopy done!!
This isn’t normal. Maybe it wouldn’t be so harsh if they only prescribed half a bottle instead of the whole thing. Doctors need to think about their patients’ well being, this is like torture!
Thankfully, it appears to have finally run it’s course, and I can have some relief, and get on with my life..
