Sell Stuff On Craigslist And Make Lots Of Money

What a novel concept, right? I’ve been using Craigslist since it’s inception, and it’s awesome!

A few years ago, a buddy of mine was moving across the country and didn’t want to bring anything with him. So he sold EVERYTHING in his apartment through Craigslist. At the time, I was just selling little things here and there, but nothing of this magnitude. Do you know that within a week, he had sold everything? And he made a ton of money in the process!

So when my parents were getting ready to put their old house on the market, I told them to check with me before they threw any furniture away. I took a bunch of pictures, threw up some listings with basic descriptions, and the e-mails started coming in. Stuff that I wanted to give away to Goodwill was fetching good money on CL, and making these people happy at the same time.

I sold two bed mattresses, a headboard, a microwave, an old lamp, two air conditioners, a computer chair, some bookshelves, and I’ve still got a bunch of stuff I haven’t even had time to list yet! It’s truly amazing what people are willing to pay for..

Something to think about the next time you’re ready to throw stuff out. 🙂

I would even go further – Something to think about all the time.

I just love craigs list. As You wrote – You can sell all that “junk” that is laying around in Your garage. To explain: for You – it’s junk, for someone else – it’s great stuff 🙂
You can very often get things for free from people who are just cleaning the attic and what to get rid of something.

Use craigslist wisely – it can be more beneficial than you can imagine!
