I don’t know if you saw the announcement, but TLC has decided to halt tapings until August based on these new developments.

Depending on how ugly the divorce gets, it’s anyone’s guess if the show will EVER come back.

I’m with you on that one. AT&T is dropping the ball here big time. They seem like they don’t WANT me as a customer… first they tell me if I pay for the phone full price, I don’t have to start a 2-year contract to get on my iPhone. Then (after I have already bought the phone, of course, and will have to pay a 15% restocking fee) they tell me I still have to go 2-year AND pay a $750 deposit on top of that, after paying $750 for the phone!

When Apple goes back to Verizon and says “ok, our bad, we screwed up by going with AT&T…can we do a phone for you?”, we’re going to see a complete 180 from AT&T…they’ll actually have to fight to keep their iPhone customers.

If only it was that easy. Last month, we did about 325K pageviews across our network, and used 22K compute cycles. But some of our blogs used more cycles than others in relation to the number of pageviews. Some of this comes down to database access/usage (the bigger the DB, the longer the search?), and even which theme and plugins you’re running.

I’m still working with them to try and figure out why two of my sites are using a TON more cycles than the other 30+ sites. It’s a struggle, but I’m confident that we can get this squared away.

I also suspect their 10k computer cycle might be the bottleneck. May I know how many page views in total across all of your sites in there that consume that much cycles (slightly exceeds 10000)? Yang Yang´s last blog post: PHP: Convert Radians to Degrees and Degrees to Radians

Zander: my words exactly! I do think last nights show was the “REAL” deal…no acting on Jon’s part! I don’t blame him one bit for running away and having some fun. He doesnt want the fame and money…it’s Kate! She says she is doing the show and books for her kids…NO…she is doing it for herself and the money! BUT I will tune in for all the upcoming shows and I hope to see Kate get what’s coming to her, and I am Jon’s biggest fan-I hope he keeps on doing what he is doing! I think Jon has more fans than Kate on this deal!

I noticed that this doesn’t work 100% of the time.. In those instances where it doesn’t, you can head over to OpenDNS and change your DNS nameserver to theirs. That’ll force a change.

I ate at steak on a stone this Tuesday while passing by on my way to Chicago. The meal was fantastic I have the 12oz New York Strip it was 2 1/2 inch thick marbled cut of meat. I found the stone to be a great way to eat steak every bite was as if it just came off the grill. The mushroom and bourbon sauces were a perfect addition to a great cut of meat. Turns out you can buy these stone systems on line but, how you get the stone up to 750 degrees is going to be tuff.
